A truly relaxed holiday

Our family recently vacationed here and had a wonderful time! Both adults and our child enjoyed themselves immensely. We especially want to thank Village Chief Mr. Lim for his warm hospitality; his attentive service made us feel right at home.

The first night's performance and team introduction left a deep impression on us, with the entire team dancing and celebrating together in an incredibly vibrant atmosphere. My daughter had so much fun that she kept insisting she wanted to come back to this resort!

On the next morning, we were once again greeted by the team's enthusiastic welcome, which truly impressed us. Their professionalism and friendliness made our experience even more enjoyable.

Even before we finished this trip, we were already planning our next Club Med adventure! Thank you once again for your outstanding service!

Super fun time exercising!!

Massive space = massive fun! 😍 Tried out Muscle Awakening and Pilates with Richie and WOW — 10/10 would stretch again. Richie’s got the moves, the knowledge, and he explains things so well, you’ll somehow find yourself doing exercises you didn’t even know your body could handle. 😂 Fun, energising, and never boring — if you're looking for a workout that makes you sweat and smile, Richie’s your guy!

Biggest and Best Scenery

Brought my son to see the mountains depicted in Chinese paintings. To experience fully, you need to go for the excursions along Li River, I did not get my wish as the river overflowed and they stopped bamboo rafting. Only managed to go for the bamboo rafting in YuLong River which was more exciting. There are some activities in Guilin such as duck feeding which was popular among the kids. There is also another excursion to visit the caves and include interacting with small animals such as parrots, rabbits and young ducklings (feed and touch). As per most China Club Meds, there are no direct flights from Singapore which is a huge pity. The school holiday period in Singapore is an excellent time to visit China as their holidays only start when ours end, occupancy rates would have increased tremendously in Club Med if the management could negotiate for direct flights to cater to young families from Singapore. Guilin was the biggest Club Med I have visited so far, having to take the buggy to move efficiently around the whole place. The overall experience was good, as I have been to multiple Club Meds in China, my son met up with a few GOs who could identify us from our previous trips. We were lucky that Adi was managing the restaurant when we were there (my son finally can find food that he caters to his liking in China.) Special mention to Dylan (Front Desk Manager) who came back during his off day to send us off on our last day in Guilin and even bought a small gift for my son. Being from Singapore, we felt more at ease speaking with the CDV Lim who was from Malaysia. So if you can endure the long transit from Singapore to Guilin, the place is an excellent choice for kids to see the mountains and rivers in Chinese paintings, improve on their chinese communication and on top of that, good food in the restaurants (provided Adi is still managing the restaurant).
