Pros - The GOs are what truly makes Club Med extra special and a truly memorable experience. The GO’s were truly outstanding and I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and for making our holiday truly memorable for me, my daughter and step-daughter. We felt very cared for.
This was my first time at Club Med in 30 years and my first time with my daughter. She did her first scuba dive and was lucky enough to see a manta ray, which was such a special experience.
I chose to go back to Club Med as opposed to another all inclusive as Club Med has better opportunities to practice a variety of sports. The diving was incredible and the diving team was excellent. The only disappointment was the availability of more advanced sports opportunities. For paddle boarding and kayaking restricted to a small area, and the bikes for mountain biking need some major tuning. The advanced ride was really not advanced or actual mountain biking as you were on a road.
The food was incredible and the kitchen team so welcoming and attentive.
This was our first time with the Club Med brand and we really enjoyed a short three day break in the middle of travelling around Japan.
The weather wasn’t the best but the staff worked really hard to keep everyone (especially the children) entertained throughout.
The resort itself is probably in need of a light refresh but the facilities available are brilliant. There are squash courts, table tennis areas, a (lightly furnished) gym, swimming pool, great beaches when the weather is nice, a water sports centre, basketball court and a purpose build event hall.
The food throughout was brilliant and the restaurant staff from the manager Benz, to chef Salim, to the BBQ expert Hugo were fantastic.
Also a special mention to Kiho who shared a meal with us and was great at explaining Japanese culture to us and telling us about her experiences as a Japanese lady who has travelled widely and is keen to explore more.
So, in conclusion, highly recommended, the staff are all brilliant and the location is amazing (just be prepared for inclement weather).

I stayed three nights with my daughter and student. The main aim of this trip was to give them an opportunity to practice English in the multinational environment at ClubMed. And it was a huge success. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.
