Kani Maldives

久しぶりのKANIは変わらず最高でした。海もちろん最高で、リゾート内で様々な時間にイベントやツアーが開催され身体がいくらあっても足りません。朝から夜まで遊ぶこと考えたら合間合間に仮眠とって体力回復させたほうがいいです。
食事もたくさん種類があり、お肉類も柔らかく美味しかった。G.O.やG.E.はみんなフレンドリーでシャイな日本人は慣れるのに時間がかかるかもしれませんが最初からバリア張らずに仲良くなれば楽しさ倍増です。私たちは中でもKokoさん、Heraさんと仲良くなれすごく楽しい滞在になりました！ありがとう。夜のショーやパーティーも本格的で体力残して夜まで遊んだ方が絶対に楽しいです。kokoの盛り上げDJやHeraの美しい弾き語りも圧巻でした。毎日2回あるシュノーケルトリップは無料で参加でき海亀は当たり前に見れて、イルカと遭遇もありました。私は小さなマンタも一瞬見れて感無量です。サンセットバーも最高です。
日本人だとどうしても英語が苦手かもしれませんが日本人G.O.もいますし、割と日本語通じたり、即座に翻訳してくれてなんとかなります！ゆっくりまったりしたい方はプライベートな過ごし方もできるので、両方の方に本当におすすめなリゾートです。帰国しましたが明日にでもまた戻りたい気持ちです。また行きますね！

It was our first time back at Club Med in a while, and it was as incredible as ever! The ocean, of course, was fantastic, and with so many events and tours taking place inside the resort throughout the day, one body just isn't enough to experience it all. If you plan to play from morning till night, I highly recommend taking power naps in between to recharge your energy.
The food offered a great variety, and the meats were tender and delicious. All the G.O.s and G.E.s were super friendly! While shy Japanese guests might need a little time to get used to the vibe, you’ll have twice as much fun if you don't build up a wall and just mingle right from the start. We especially hit it off with Koko-san and Hera-san, which made our stay exceptionally fun—thank you both! The night shows and parties were surprisingly legit, so saving enough energy to party into the night is definitely the way to go. Koko’s hype DJ sets and Hera’s breathtaking singing and guitar performance were absolute highlights.
The daily snorkeling trips (held twice a day) were free to join. Seeing sea turtles was practically a given, and we even ran into dolphins! I even caught a brief glimpse of a small manta ray, which truly filled my heart. The Sunset Bar was amazing as well.
If you’re Japanese, you might worry about a language barrier if your English isn't strong, but there are Japanese G.O.s available, many staff understand a bit of Japanese, and others will instantly use translation tools for you, so you'll be completely fine! For those who just want to kick back and relax, you can easily enjoy a quiet, private stay as well. I genuinely recommend this resort to both action-seekers and relaxers.
We're back home now, but I feel like jumping on a flight back tomorrow. We’ll definitely be back!

Club Med Kani was truly the perfect place for our honeymoon! The resort is absolutely breathtaking—the turquoise water, beautiful beaches, and incredible views felt like something out of a dream.

What made our stay especially memorable was the staff. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make our honeymoon feel special. The service and genuine hospitality made such a difference throughout our trip.

Our only small suggestion would be to offer a little more variety in the food, particularly for a longer stay. However, this did not take away from the overall experience.

We left with wonderful memories and would absolutely recommend Club Med Kani to couples looking for a romantic, relaxing, and unforgettable Maldives getaway. It was a true five-star honeymoon experience, and we would love to return someday!

We had a wonderful stay at Club Med Kani! I would like to give a special thank you to the Sports Team for making our days so active and enjoyable. There was always something to do, and the team brought such a great atmosphere and energy to the resort.

I also want to mention the circus instructors, Hendry and Sanndy. I didn’t take part in the circus lessons myself, but I loved watching my daughter enjoy them. They were so kind, attentive and encouraging, and it was clear how much passion they put into what they do.

We came back to Club Med Kani after a wonderful stay last season and left even more impressed. The island is still that easy, turquoise North Malé Atoll paradise — 25 minutes by speedboat and you are on the sand — but what struck us this time was how many small, thoughtful improvements had been made. Public areas feel cared for in a way that is rare at a busy Maldives resort. The room itself was not the strongest part of the stay, but everywhere else the village looked sharper, cleaner and more considered.

One detail meant a lot to us. Last season I mentioned to CDV Ragab how useful a simple water jug outside the rooms would be, so we could rinse the sand off our feet before going in. This year it was there. That is Club Med at its best: a guest comment that does not vanish into a suggestion box, but actually appears on the island.

Padel is another big step forward. The courts have gone from two to four, and it is finally realistic to get a game without hovering all morning. Combined with more outdoor showers and the improved restaurant terrace, the day-to-day rhythm of the village just works better.

The people, as always at Kani, are the reason we keep coming back.

Palitha and the bar team — Kim and the others — made excellent drinks and set the tone of the evenings. Anish and the GE restaurant team were consistently warm and on it. Clem at Manta was a pleasure. Executive chef Dince and his assistant Ahmet delivered food that felt a notch above; Ahmet in particular deserves a promotion. Shafix at traffic was exceptionally competent when our return-leg boat needed sorting — the kind of quiet professionalism you only notice when something goes wrong and is then fixed properly. Genesis, who will be reception manager next season, already has the presence for it.

Chief of Sport Dokan is a standout in two directions at once. He runs the sports team with real authority, and he is equally strong on animation — present, energetic and able to lift a room or a beach session without it feeling forced. That combination is rarer than it should be.

And holding the whole stay together was Beste, the reception manager. Her leadership is the quiet kind that guests feel rather than see: she anticipated what we needed, made every request feel simple, and set a standard of warmth and competence that ran through the front desk. We were looked after from the first greeting to the last boat, and that is no small thing on an island where the reception team is the hinge of the entire holiday.

There was one sour note: some GOs, including a supervisor from Manta, made a lot of noise in the restaurant. It was not a good look, and a supervisor especially should set the standard, not lower it. It was resolved by CDV Julien, who handled it with the cheerful, practical calm that good village chiefs have. After that, the stay settled back into what Kani does so well.

We cannot wait to return.
