Magna Marbella Spain

We spent two weeks at Club Med Magna Marbella, and one of the absolute highlights of our stay was the golf academy, thanks to Alex!

My son and I took golf lessons with Alex throughout our holiday, and the experience was fantastic. Alex is an exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and professional instructor who knows exactly how to adapt his teaching to each player’s level. His explanations are clear, precise, and practical, and his attention to technique and individual progress makes every lesson productive.

As beginners, we were amazed by how much we improved in just two weeks. Alex managed to make learning golf both challenging and genuinely enjoyable. His enthusiasm, encouragement, and great sense of humor created a wonderful atmosphere during every lesson.

We enjoyed the experience so much that we even ventured onto a real golf course for the first time!

While other aspects of our Club Med stay did not always meet our expectations, the golf experience with Alex was truly outstanding and made our holiday much more enjoyable.

We returned home with a new passion for golf, wonderful memories, and the motivation to continue playing. A huge thank you to Alex! We would absolutely return for more lessons with him.

Padel, on the other hand, was disappointing. The group lessons were short and very basic, offering little opportunity for meaningful improvement, particularly for players with some experience. The tournaments were equally underwhelming, with an unbalanced format, very limited actual playing time for weaker players, and little consideration for making the experience enjoyable for everyone. Unfortunately, what should have been a fun and engaging sporting activity turned out to be frustrating.

Overall, golf with Alex was a real highlight of our holiday, while the padel program has significant room for improvement.

Magna Marbella really is a wonderful resort. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the activities, plentiful and varied......we played tennis and Padel everyday then did aqua aerobics which was super fun! The live band for apero was wonderful to listen to with a really expansive playlist. And the food was second to none!

We had a fantastic stay at Club Med Magna Marbella! We were warmly welcomed from the start. The rooms are beautiful, the views spectacular, and the good food . The tennis and padel instructors were top-notch!
A special mention to Arturo, the Chief of the Village, who was kind, professional and engaging throughout our stay. We’ll definitely be back!
