Club Med x Fairgrounds Partnership

Club Med partnered with Fairgrounds, a fast-growing lifestyle brand redefining the social side of sport through community-driven experiences and an inclusive approach to racquet culture, for its very first pickleball event in Club Med Michès Playa Esmeralda. Rapidly expanding across Toronto and Canada, Fairgrounds has become a key player in the country’s growing pickleball scene.

Rooted in shared values of connection, community and play, the partnership brings together Club Med’s iconic destinations and expertise in creating multigenerational experiences with Fairgrounds’ fresh, community-led vision for the future of pickleball. What began through league sponsorships and community events has since evolved into a true 360-degree partnership.

2. An enhanced pickleball experience for GMs

Throughout the week, GMs enjoyed an exclusive program led by expert coaches.

Three key moments structured the week:

Open initiation sessions for all levels,
A “One Point Slam” tournament, a fast-paced format
Liveball (LVBL) sessions, a high-energy cardio version of pickleball

This program highlights Club Med’s ability to deliver innovative, engaging, and accessible sports experiences for all profiles.

3. A dedicated program for content creators

A tailored program was designed to introduce or deepen the practice of pickleball, while showcasing the Club Med experience and the partnership with Fairgrounds. The agenda included content creation, social activations, and shared moments around the sport, such as “Pickle & Aperitif” experiences and a final team tournament.

This initiative fully aligns with Club Med’s strategy: to offer unique experiences aligned with emerging trends and combining performance, fun & conviviality.
